Where they perused their Bachelor of Fine Arts with their concentration in textiles. Jay uses textiles to explore the ways in which bodies are impacted and represented by trauma and gender. Jay's use of materials such as nylon hosiery, and fleshy tones and dyes helps immerses their viewers into their world. Jay uses their art practices to work through their own personal trauma and to also bring awareness to the topics. Jay is currently working on a runway line and art for a solo show in the near future.
